I was tasked with creating a promotional film for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust's annual fundraiser, Febrewary. The video encourages people to host a tea party and raise funds, with the tagline 'Make Your Cuppa Count This FeBrewary'. The funds collected will support the Trust's efforts to assist those affected by cystic fibrosis.
CF Week is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust's flagship awareness-raising event of the year.
During this advocacy-focused week, the CF community shares stories, raises funds, and creates content to educate and raise understanding about the challenges of living with CF. In 2020, I made a contribution to CF Week by creating two films. The first film features an original song I wrote called 'Thousand Years'. The song celebrates the transformative impact of Trikafta/Kaftrio, a medication that drastically improved my health and changed my life overnight.
My second film created for CF Week was 'The Wolf of CF Week', a treatment awareness video adapted from Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. The film presents an entertaining depiction of the multiple medications taken by individuals with cystic fibrosis and how Trikafta/Kaftrio is transforming the experience of living with the condition.
